As a recipient of our services, your responsibilities include:

  1. You should act in a way that respects the rights of other participants, staff and volunteers.
  2. You need to take responsibility for any decisions you make.
  3. You need to participate as fully as possible in the planning and assessment processes.
  4. You need to let the service know if you will not be home or attending planned shifts or activities at least 24 hours in advance.
  5. You need to let your Support Coordinator know if there are any changes in your health or circumstances which may affect the service you need or how the service is provided to you.
  6. You need to speak directly with your Support Coordinator before organising shifts with staff or how the service is provided to or other activities being provided by R&R.
  7. You should ask any questions about the service you receive and discuss any problems or issues that may affect you with your Support Coordinator.
  • Just wanted to thank you for the amazing support staff you have put into our home to help with our daughter . One outstanding support worker supported her in such a professional manner , and was not afraid to help in any way she could .

  • I’m emailing today to tell you how great my support worker is; not only is he very patient, helpful and quick-thinking, but he’s also the most friendly worker I’ve had to date. Whenever I’m not feeling my best, he seems to see that and not push me to do things that I’d otherwise be willing to do, however when I am feeling able to do things, he encourages me to do it myself, he teaches me how to do it if I’m not understanding, or congratulates me when I do it by myself.
