What a Day! Our Rec trip participants headed out for lunch last Friday to The Golden Dog. How good is this picture of them all after they filled their bellies with a hearty lunch ?
A simply stunning day to get together, socialise, have fun and live life.
And of course get a photo with the big golden puppy.
Every Friday we run our popular Rec Trips and they are growing bigger each week. Each week is different as we find exciting new places and activities to experience.
Some of our latest trips have been beautiful lunch cruises with Nambucca River Cruises, BBQ lunches by the ocean with a little fishing time included and visits to Fred’s Farm to see the animals and soak up some fresh country air.
R & R Cares Rec Trip groups are a great way to meet new people, catch up with friends and enjoying socialising.
If you aren’t able to get out much you’re sure to enjoy these trips. Our participants look forward to them every week.
Each trip is run by our wonderful team of support staff. Made up of a great bunch of humans who have the skills to assist with all disabilities. It is a fully inclusive group and our goal is to make sure that you have the best time possible.
To begin your trip you will meet us at R & R Care and we provide the transport for all of the trips.
If you can’t get to us we will organise to pick you up.
You can join in via the group or if you require one on one support we provide this too.
So as you can see we are fully equipped to enable you to have a worry free and fun experience every time.
If you’d like to book in for our Rec Trips you can call us on 5622 8400 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to you joining us!
Just wanted to thank you for the amazing support staff you have put into our home to help with our daughter . One outstanding support worker supported her in such a professional manner , and was not afraid to help in any way she could .
I’m emailing today to tell you how great my support worker is; not only is he very patient, helpful and quick-thinking, but he’s also the most friendly worker I’ve had to date. Whenever I’m not feeling my best, he seems to see that and not push me to do things that I’d otherwise be willing to do, however when I am feeling able to do things, he encourages me to do it myself, he teaches me how to do it if I’m not understanding, or congratulates me when I do it by myself.
“R&R gave me my first real opportunity to work in a new industry following my career change. I value the opportunity that you extended, the way in which everyone at R&R including Admin, Coordinators and fellow Support Workers welcomed the new greenhorn and the valuable experience gained. ”
“Wonderful organisation doing some great programs and initiatives.”
“Great place to work with awesome staff and clients keep up the good work”
“I am very grateful and blessed that I have been part of a wonderful service during my time at R&R Disability Services.”
